On 5 June 2022, we had the pleasure to have been visited by Her Excellency Pamela O’Donnell, the High Commissioner of Canada to Tanzania and her Assistant, Consul Sandra Rossiter.
Among other things, we had a meeting discussing the initiatives that FEPT has been carrying for climate change adaptation and environmental conservation. We discussed the support that FEPT has been receiving from the Canadian Government through the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) on how it has impacted the conservation and lives of the people in Tanzania.
The High Commission of Canada will continue to be our partner for more interventions in the future to ensure Tanzania’s environment is well protected.
